Credit & Refund Policy

What a credit buys

One Lokals credit represents one completed 15-minute Pre-Interview between an employer and candidate.

Employers purchase credits in advance.

Credit states

Available means the credit is in the employer's wallet and can be used.

Held means the employer has revealed a candidate's name and contact details, and one credit is set aside for that candidate.

Booked means a Pre-Interview with that candidate is scheduled.

Used means the Pre-Interview took place, or counts as having taken place under this policy.

When a credit returns to Available

A held or booked credit returns to the employer's Available balance when:

• the candidate declines the Pre-Interview;
• the candidate or the employer does not show up for the Pre-Interview; or
• within 48 hours of the Reveal, the employer tells Lokals the candidate was already in its own records and gives the date it first had them on file.

When a credit is used

A credit is Used when the employer and candidate complete the Pre-Interview.

If a Pre-Interview was booked and nothing is reported within 3 days after the meeting time, the credit is Used.

Whether the employer decides to continue with that candidate does not affect the credit. The employer is paying for the completed conversation, not a guaranteed hire.

Contact outside Lokals

If the employer contacts a revealed candidate outside Lokals within 12 months of the Reveal, it counts as a completed Pre-Interview and the credit is Used.

Refunds

Except for duplicate or erroneous charges, requirements of applicable law, or refunds expressly approved by Lokals, purchased credits are non-refundable.

Only Available credits can be refunded. Held, Booked and Used credits are not refundable.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Credit validity

Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase, unless a different validity period is expressly stated at purchase.

Transfers

Credits belong to the purchasing employer and may be used across that employer's Hiring Needs.

Credits may not be sold, transferred to another business or redeemed for cash unless Lokals expressly agrees.

Taxes

Prices may be subject to applicable taxes.
