What we ask, why we ask it, and how long it takes.
Your profile tells us what you do and what you want. It takes about 8 minutes on your phone. You do not need a resume.
How to start
Pick the kind of work you want
Open app.lokals.ca/start on your phone. Tap the job you want, like Welder or General Labourer. Don't see yours? Tap Something else and search for it.
Tell us your name and cell number
One question per screen. Tap Next after each one. You can tick the box to get a text when an employer is interested.
Add your last name and email
Then tap Create my profile.
What we ask
- Where you live and how far you will drive to work.
- The work you do now or have done before.
- What you are good at. Tools, machines, tickets and licences.
- What you want next. The pay, the hours and the shift that would work for you.
Answer the way you would talk to a friend. There are no wrong answers.
Can I stop and come back?
Yes. We send you a link by text and email, so you can pick up where you left off.
Can I change my answers?
Yes. Sign in at app.lokals.ca and tap Edit profile. Keep it up to date, so the jobs we send you fit.
