These are the same words you see in the Lokals app.

| Candidate | A person looking for work with a Lokals profile. |
| Employer | A company hiring through Lokals. |
| Profile | Your free Lokals page about you: where you live, the work you do, and what you want next. It is not posted anywhere. |
| PinPal | Our AI interviewer. |
| Work interview | The interview a candidate does once with PinPal, about the work they have done. |
| Hiring need | One job an employer wants filled. |
| Hiring Brief | Our write-up of the job, confirmed by the employer. |
| Shortlist | The candidates Lokals recommends for one job. |
| Hiring Room | The employer's private page for a shortlist. |
| Applied | The candidate tapped I'm interested on a job ad or job page. |
| Invite candidate | For a candidate who didn't apply: Lokals asks them if they want the job. |
| I'm interested / No thanks | The candidate's answer when we ask about a job. |
| Interested | The employer wants to talk to this candidate. |
| Not a fit | The employer passes on this candidate, with an optional reason. |
| Show contact | The employer sees the candidate's name, phone and email. This holds 1 credit. |
| Contact shown | A candidate whose contact the employer can see. |
| Schedule Pre-Interview | Sends the candidate the employer's booking link. |
| Call times | When the employer takes Pre-Interview calls. |
| Pre-Interview | A 15-minute phone call. The employer calls the candidate. See What is a Pre-Interview? |
| Team notes | Notes an employer's team writes about a candidate. The candidate never sees them. |
| Credit | Pays for one Pre-Interview that happens. |
| Available | A credit that is ready to use. |
| Held | A credit set aside after Show contact, until the call is booked. |
| Booked | A credit for a call that is on the calendar. |
| Used | A credit for a call that took place. |
