How credits work
One credit pays for one Pre-Interview that happens. Here is how a credit moves.
You buy Pre-Interview credits. One credit pays for one 15-minute Pre-Interview that happens. We quote the price on a call. It depends on the job and how many people you need.
The gold credit coin at the top of your Hiring Room shows how many credits are Available. Tap it to see all four states.
The four credit states
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Available | Ready to use. |
| Held | Set aside after Show contact, until the call is booked. |
| Booked | The Pre-Interview is on the calendar. |
| Used | The call happened, or you contacted the person outside Lokals. |
How a credit moves
Solid lines show the normal path. Dotted lines show when a credit goes back.
When a credit comes back to you
The credit goes back to Available when:
- The candidate says no.
- The candidate cancels and doesn't book a new time within 7 days.
- Within 48 hours of Show contact, you tell us the candidate was already in your records.
- The candidate doesn't show up. You tell us in your feedback, and the candidate doesn't say the call happened.
If the candidate cancels, the credit stays Held for 7 days. That gives them time to pick a new time.
When you click Invite candidate for someone who didn't apply, no credit is used unless they say yes.
When a credit is used
- You and the candidate have the call.
- A call was booked, and 3 days after the call time no one has said the candidate didn't show.
- You contact the candidate outside Lokals within 12 months of Show contact.
Whether you hire the person does not change the credit. You pay for the call, not for a hire.
Good to know
- Credits are good for 12 months from purchase.
- Credits can be used on any of your jobs.
- Credits can't be moved to another business.
